Church is...

I am thinking a lot at the moment about what the church is from God's perspective. Who are we called and destined to be? What is our community to look like? What impact upon the world are we to be having? What matters most to God about what we do?

Anyone who has some interesting and brief "Church is..." thoughts, please share them either as a post or by adding a comment to this or other post. Let's have some fruitful discussion on this.
